World Tobacco Asia 2008

Today China and Asia became very important tobacco representatives to the worldwide tobacco markets. China manufactures more cigarettes than any other country making 30 per cent and consuming a third of the world cigarettes. It is one of the largest cigarette markets. The number of smokers in this region of the world continues to increase. Asia and China have become in demand after markets for tobacco companies.

World Tobacco Asia 2008 is the main event dedicated to the tobacco industries of China and Asia. It will take place in Macau, China. Macao is the world’s unique and culturally rich destination. Nowhere else in Asia you will find the combination of attractions, facilities and amenities available here.

The World Tobacco exhibitions have the main aim attracting the right visitors. The previous China fairs took place in 1999, 2001 and 2004. In total these three exhibitions have attracted over 18,000 visitors.

The following fields will be presented at the exhibition: Tobacco machinery, Processing and packaging machinery, adhesives, cut tobacco, cigarette tipping and plug-wrap, duty-free trade, flavoring and aromatic materials, test and laboratory equipment, leaf import and export, packaging materials, cigars and cigarettes (manufacturing), monopoly manufacture.

The World Tobacco Exhibition is organized by the people who are professionals in the tobacco industry.
